THE MASTERMIND AU MEME

THE MASTERMIND AU
AMBIDEX EDITION
With Round 3 now over, it's about time we had the mastermind meme!
To those who aren't familiar, this is essentially an AU where your character is the one responsible for Round 3's Mutual Killing Game, and all of the carnage that came with it, from the kidnapping to the motives to the trials to the executions! And now, they have chosen to reveal themselves before the remaining members of their class at the final trial!
As such, you are free to play around with this as much as you would like; did your character make a contract with Kyuubey, or did your character put everyone in the Killing Game for a different reason? What is your character's motivation for bringing despair? What do they intend to get out of this seemingly senseless killing? And what does the rest of the class have to do to stop the madness and go home?
There's probably going to be quite a bit of AUing from your character's original canon happening here to make them into the best harbingers of despair they can be, so feel free to go as nuts with it as you want to! And, of course, feel free to tag others with your character's reaction to their classmate's big reveal; it doesn't matter whether or not your character made it to endgame, have fun and mix up the survivor pool as much as you'd like!
Oh, and feel free to describe your character's sweet new Monobear-themed duds, too!!
Original meme text borrowed and modified from loveisanopendoor!

[Despite his words, there's no concern in his voice, there's nothing implying that to be the case; it's a decent summation of everything that people may have suspected about him, really.
Words are to be used to one's benefit; there's nothing to be said for kindness and caring, there's no point to any of it, not when it's so easily used and even more easily discarded on a whim. It's how things have always been for him back in Tokyo; it's not going to be any different for any of you here.]
I'm glad that you've proven me wrong.
no subject
[So he could see him like this? So he could get a glimpse of him at his absolute lowest?]
Why didn't you kill me?
no subject
[He doesn't sound troubled by the notion, let's put it that way.]
I thought you were better than that.

no subject
[Come now, what's that for.]
I was hoping that I would get to see you again, Silver-kun.
no subject
It would be so easy to just take those words and slam down his despair button right then and there. Too easy.]
You were starving. You could have eaten both of us.
[He's not starving anymore... Did he really do all of this? Everything?
But... But he survived, and...
Silver gradually drifts closer to Tsukiyama. It's not a particularly fast effort because his ribs are still seriously messed up, but he's heading to him anyway.]
no subject
[He's willing to let Silver approach him; he doesn't seem too inclined to rise to meet him, but he'll allow it - he's injured, after all, it's not as though he can do much to him.]
no subject
He's completely vulnerable now. One shove in the chest, and he's as good as dead.]
...What do you want from us, Tsukiyama? What did you do all of this for?
no subject
[His gaze tracks the movement, watching whatever Silver's doing with those Pokéballs before he glances back up toward him; he understands the significance of the gesture, surely, but he doesn't seem affected by it, not as he would have been back in the hotel proper.]
Why don't you tell me what you think. I know you probably want to hear it from me, but I've never made things that easy on anyone.
no subject
[He takes a deep breath- or as deep of one as he can like this.]
I don't think I care, no matter what it was. If it was really just for entertainment, or for some deeper purpose. If you really cared for me, if you still do, or if you're just using kind words to sway me. If you're amused or scared. If you're convincing yourself you're one or the other.
[His eyes are dead. There's no fight left in him.]
I don't care anymore, Tsukiyama. I can't say no to you. I won't.
no subject
[The question isn't pointed; there's nothing in his tone to imply what he wants. It's just out there, something he's asking for reasons that he surely understands and isn't willing to elaborate on.]
Even if the others don't want to, even if it means their lives - will you stay?
no subject
[There's an obvious follow up here- Don't leave me alone. But that's not it.]
Promise me you won't give up on your own happiness, no matter where it takes you. Promise me that, and I'll follow you to the ends of the earth.
[Silver grips the arm of Tsukiyama's chair and gets down on one knee despite the pain that comes with the gesture.]
no subject
Perhaps you can help me find it again. It'd be nice, wouldn't it?
no subject
It would be. I'll do anything for you, Tsukiyama.
no subject
[He lets his kakugan fade then, his eyes sliding closed only to reopen again and reveal the same color they almost always are. There's something wrong with them, though; they're cold, dead-looking, the usual passion and vibrancy behind them entirely gone.]
I knew I was right to not kill you that night...you're too important to me.
no subject
Which isn't to say that he isn't genuinely happy, at least a little; his shoulders relax in relief and he gently reaches up to touch Tsukiyama's face, right by his eyes. He just needs to settle into it.]
...All I've wanted for the past two weeks is to see you again. Thanks for leaving me alive.
no subject
Vote for Despair, then, when the time comes. You'll never be alone again, I promise - I'll never leave you alone again.
no subject
Until then, could I stay here next to you?
