Character Voice Meme

"Voice" not as in roleplaying voice, but actual, literal voice. The sounds that come out of your character's mouth.

What does your character's voice sound like? If you have a clip of them talking, you can link it here.

If your character doesn't have a canon voice, you can use a headcanon voice.

If your character does have a canon voice, but no readily available clips of that voice, you could use clips of another character voiced by the same actor/voice actor, or any other solution you can think of.

This was made with mainly the Round 3 folks just coming in in mind, but any DRRP folks are welcome. Round 1, Round 2, Disney Ronpa, any future canon or gimmick rounds, Mock Trials even, why not?

Homestuck isn't a voice acted canon and I don't actually have much of a voice headcanon for him, but ehh, maybe something like Chad Sugg? That's a Tennessee accent, though, and Dave's from Houston.

Also since we've got a Rufioh, I'd be amiss not to link Dante Basco voicing a few of Dave's lines (cw: swearing, use of 'autistic' as a slur)

Ah man, here I was going to post it up here and you already beat me to it. And, it's not specifically canon, but it is worth mentioning that Dante Basco himself has been chosen to be Rufiohs voice actor in the upcoming Lets Read Homestuck.

Edit: Also lets not forget the time Dante Basco cosplayed as him.. I think its safe to say we know what Rufioh sounds like.

Here's Ulysses arguing with the gods. 17:30 - 20:00. Also it's the climax of the last episode, so spoiler warning.

For a tone of voice that's less argumentative, here's a bit from the first episode. 20:08 - 21:40 (and I recommend listening closely at 21:26).

Wario's voice acted by Charles Martinet, as should be fairly obvious. It's a canon that's fairly light on anything outside small snippets of dialogue.

But here's Wario talking for talking for six minutes. Special things to notice. Mispronunciation/emphasis on a great deal of words, a love of smacking losers, and Wario making quite a number of flirts that are not E-Rated.

Cecil Palmer is voiced by Cecil Baldwin because apparently they just used the VA's first name before they came up with Cecil's last name?

His voice can get, uh... strangely hypnotic.

Maybeck sounds like Quaasim Middleton. Who was going to be his pb (circa Naked Brothers Band) before I realized . . . apping 15yo absolute shitlord Maybeck was in nobody's best interests.

YOU THOUGHT MAYBECK WAS AN ASSHOLE IN DISNEY RONPA? IMAGINE A MAYBECK WHO ALSO HAS ZERO REGARD FOR OTHER PEOPLE. (Fun fact: Maybeck works with the other Kingdom Keepers for three years worth of traumatic experiences before he's finally like. "w/e, you guys are my friends I WOULD PROBABLY BE SAD IF YOU DIED.")

And since it looks like we have round 2 characters here too! Goku here was voiced by Soichiru Hoshi in the original Japanese version, and by Greg Ayres in the English dub.

Wash is voiced by Shannon McCormick and he's the one in the grey and yellow armour.

He's also done Project:RANT about a fat cat and it is amazing.

Mother 3 doesn't have any canon voices, but I headcanon that Duster speaks with a low, mellow voice. He's more of a slow speaker, taking time between sentences/phrases to think over what to say.

Cryotic comes pretty close to what I imagine, though Duster's voice is at a slightly lower register.

Late but I use Mayumi Shintani as my headcanon voice for Futo :V Nasally, kind of annoying to listen to at length, gets higher and higher in pitch the more upset/excited she is but normally an even range.
