With Round 3 now over, it's about time we had the mastermind meme!

To those who aren't familiar, this is essentially an AU where your character is the one responsible for Round 3's Mutual Killing Game, and all of the carnage that came with it, from the kidnapping to the motives to the trials to the executions! And now, they have chosen to reveal themselves before the remaining members of their class at the final trial!

As such, you are free to play around with this as much as you would like; did your character make a contract with Kyuubey, or did your character put everyone in the Killing Game for a different reason? What is your character's motivation for bringing despair? What do they intend to get out of this seemingly senseless killing? And what does the rest of the class have to do to stop the madness and go home?

There's probably going to be quite a bit of AUing from your character's original canon happening here to make them into the best harbingers of despair they can be, so feel free to go as nuts with it as you want to! And, of course, feel free to tag others with your character's reaction to their classmate's big reveal; it doesn't matter whether or not your character made it to endgame, have fun and mix up the survivor pool as much as you'd like!

Oh, and feel free to describe your character's sweet new Monobear-themed duds, too!!

[Slowly, she nods.]

Maybe it is, but I don't think so. I'm not really planning to call anything we try pointless right now as it is. I was willing to pass on once, and I'll do it if I have to. But we've all fought for so long to find our happiness somewhere, and we've just been broken down for it -- why let that be the end? There's such a thing as a miracle that will bring everything out of what it was supposed to be. I can feel it.

[One of her hands goes over her heart, and there's a light she barely remembers that might just be an illusion.]

Everyone else has their own hopes, too.

[callbacks]

There's a girl, about your age. She can bring the dead back to life. She died, but she's in these bubbles, too, if you can find her.

[One of the fractured panes of glass brightens for a moment to show a sleeping girl curled around the back of another boy.]

[mopocalypse]

[Haruka's memory is always failing, losing dates, names, whether or not she did something or someone just insisted that she did it. Even so, she steels herself and nods, trying to put the person to memory. If she can't, maybe someone else can. They're all together, after all.]

I'll do it. And your enemy... you said you were buying time. There's something to stop him out there, isn't there? Even if it's a major gamble or something.

[callbacks]

There are the living. Life's always gonna fight the Lord of Time. It has to, that's what it means to be alive.

[He's hovering a little lower now, but further away, like he'd retreat if he could. His hand doesn't leave his chest, and he won't make eye contact, now. His head is bowed.]

[mopocalypse]

Always fighting, huh? Maybe that's what you did with us, in the end. Even if you weren't meaning to.

[callbacks]

Of course we meant to. We're afraid not to exist, too.

What we didn't mean was to learn to be afraid of other things. Love is...really fucking weird to experience. Weird and awful. We don't know how you do it, it bites.

[mopocalypse]

We don't know how we manage it, either. But I think it's worth it, even if you keep on hurting. Everyone here deserved to feel loved.

[callbacks]

...Everyone, huh.

[He's flat-out avoiding her gaze, now. Maybe it was a mistake to remove those sunglasses. A symbol of someone else's love for the boy who made all this possible.]

[mopocalypse]

Yeah. Some of us did awful things in here, and maybe I thought they deserved something worse, but after everything, I don't want to see anyone else die. I still love everyone who was in here. ...You're gonna say it was all a lie, but I don't think it is, is it?

[callbacks]

No. None of it was a lie. The only one we controlled here was Dave, and even that...was what he would have been, had he been here in any actual capacity.

If you're going to go, we'd like to ask you to hurry it up already. Convince the others to vote and get on with it so--so as few of us as possible have to die while you rejoin the living.

[mopocalypse]

...Okay. No matter what you did -- and what you did still deserved it, for taking advantage of people who didn't need that from anyone -- I'll call the vote. We'll save you too, okay?

[callbacks]

[He just closes his eyes.]
