With Round 3 now over, it's about time we had the mastermind meme!

To those who aren't familiar, this is essentially an AU where your character is the one responsible for Round 3's Mutual Killing Game, and all of the carnage that came with it, from the kidnapping to the motives to the trials to the executions! And now, they have chosen to reveal themselves before the remaining members of their class at the final trial!

As such, you are free to play around with this as much as you would like; did your character make a contract with Kyuubey, or did your character put everyone in the Killing Game for a different reason? What is your character's motivation for bringing despair? What do they intend to get out of this seemingly senseless killing? And what does the rest of the class have to do to stop the madness and go home?

There's probably going to be quite a bit of AUing from your character's original canon happening here to make them into the best harbingers of despair they can be, so feel free to go as nuts with it as you want to! And, of course, feel free to tag others with your character's reaction to their classmate's big reveal; it doesn't matter whether or not your character made it to endgame, have fun and mix up the survivor pool as much as you'd like!

Oh, and feel free to describe your character's sweet new Monobear-themed duds, too!!

I don't want to hurt you, but I don't want you to die. I'd... I'd do anything, anything...

[He's silent for a moment before trying again.]

I don't know if I can keep doing this to you. I'm selfish as hell, but things are different with you.

[preybeforemeals]

Don't you understand? I don't have anything left.

[He can feel the tears starting up again; he can't really say that he cares.]

Don't leave me.

[That gets Ryuunosuke to look up again and it takes him a moment to react. He's still crying and he's still shaking, but seeing Tsukiyama hurt like this is doing all sorts of awful things to him. He reaches out again to touch Tsukiyama's arm, though he's expecting to get turned away again and that's probably for the best.]

I... I'm so sorry...

[It's a genuine apology, but it's far too little and too late.]

I-I won't leave you. Okay?

[The offer is hesitant because he's really not sure this is for the best, but he can't hurt Tsukiyama anymore. He doesn't want to.]

[preybeforemeals]

[He'll actually allow the contact this time, though he's keeping his gaze low; it takes him a while to nod again, though the tears aren't really stopping.]

I... All right...all right, good...

[He tries to breathe; it's jagged, shuddering.]

...Thank you.

[He's pretty pleased that Tsukiyama's allowing the contact. He's going to have to get up in a moment to go talk to Bluebeard, but for now he just wants to stay like this. It's not as nice as all of the other times, but nothing's going to be like that ever again.]

Don't thank me. Please don't thank me. I haven't done anything to deserve that.

[The words are quiet and gentle though.]

...Just stay with me.

[Everything about this hurts; Ryuunosuke's touch burns through the fabric of his sleeve. But he doesn't want to pull away, no matter how bad it gets, not matter how much his chest aches.]

I won't leave you.

[And that's about when the black and white Monobear hops off the throne and comes over. Ryuunosuke jumps a bit and pulls away from Tsukiyama before grabbing the bear and immediately bolting to hide out behind the throne. He's whispering, but Tsukiyama can probably pick up on most of the conversation. Bluebeard's completely confused by everything Ryuunosuke is doing and Ryuunosuke keeps mentioning Command Seals, but after a few minutes of hushed conversation they seem to come to some sort of understanding and Ryuunosuke returns to sit next to Tsukiyama.]

...It's over.

[He's not crying anymore but he doesn't seem to be feeling much either.]

[Tsukiyama's quiet for a moment; he doesn't move to touch him or show him the usual affection that he always offered when Ryuunosuke sat next to him before all of this happened, he just...goes very still.]

And what does that mean?

We're getting out of here - you, the other survivors, and me. I need to go speak with him in person before we go, but... it's over. I'm not going to leave you.

[preybeforemeals]

[He just kind of...settles, then, bowing his head and trying to breathe; his emotions are all over the place, and he can't make them stop, and...

He's so tired.]

...The others want that too, you know. They're tired of killing people.

They won't have to. No one else is going to die.
