It's time for Nick vs. CN's mastermind meme!

To those who aren't familiar, this is essentially an AU where your character is the one responsible for Nick v CN's Mutual Killing Game, and all of the carnage that came with it, from the kidnapping to the motives to the trials to the executions! And now, they have chosen to reveal themselves before the remaining members of their class at the final trial!

As such, you are free to play around with this as much as you would like; was your character just another pawn in the grand scheme of things, or did your character put everyone in the Killing Game for a different reason? What is your character's motivation for bringing despair? What do they intend to get out of this seemingly senseless killing? And what does the rest of the class have to do to stop the madness and go home?

There's probably going to be quite a bit of AUing from your character's original canon happening here to make them into the best harbingers of despair they can be, so feel free to go as nuts with it as you want to! And, of course, feel free to tag others with your character's reaction to their classmate's big reveal; it doesn't matter whether or not your character made it to endgame, have fun and mix up the survivor pool as much as you'd like!

Oh, and feel free to describe your character's sweet new Monobear-themed duds, too!!

[Panda shakes his head, refusing to believe it.]

There has to be some part of you that knows that this is all wrong! Don't you have anyone that you care about?!

Yep. She's right next to me!

[He motions over to the hooded girl.]

My sister is always here!

[Stares at her.]

Is.. she okay?

She's fine! Wanna see her?

[Because she's just peachy.]

I... I guess.

[Panda sounds doubtful.]

[Sokka pulls the cloak off, revealing a crying statue.]

This is my little sister, Katara! She's always here with me!

[What the hell Sokka.]

You... you turned your sister into a statue?! Why?!

She's still alive! So don't worry about it! It's just to stop her from talking about hope all the time. I had her locked up, before I took her bending away. She got really good at breaking through those doors after a while. Makes me proud to be her brother!

[He gently raps a knuckle against her stone cheek.]

She can't leave me this way. Not until I'm done with her.

You... you can't do that Sokka! Siblings are supposed to love and care for each other no matter what! It's what they're supposed to do! You don't just use them for your evil plans!

You are a terrible brother!

No.

[It's said rather sharply.]

She's a terrible sister. She went and decided that our plan was not something she wanted to. I never told anyone about my girlfriend, did I? Oh wait! Marinette knows about her.

[He stops talking and just... stares at Panda.]

Do you know what it feels like to have the person you love most die in front of you? Because someone decided to go against a plan?

[Panda is silent for a bit.]

Sokka I don't know what it's like for that to happen to you, but there's no way she could have known!

She made a choice that got someone I love killed. Her choice has gotten others killed. If only she had done what we told her to, I wouldn't have to start a new war.

[He smirks at Panda, crossing his arms.]

I'm going to attain my goal and spread despair everywhere while I'm at it.

I... I refuse to ever give into despair Sokka! I don't care if you think it's better that way, and there will always be people who refuse to go into despair!

It's not the better way. It's the only way. I've gotten used to watching TV while I've been here. Surfing around the internet. All I see is violence, suffering, and killing. Despair is everywhere! Those people who hang onto hope are so few in number compared to the rest of their worlds!

[He lifts a finger up.] I am going to start spreading despair in my world with one single target. And then just move on from there. Katara is going to be in a front row seat when I kill them.

Th... there is still a lot of hope in the world, SOkka!

But... who is your target?

Never enough to keep despair away. We'll win in the end.

[He's staring at you like you've grown another head, Panda.] I'd think with the evidence you've got it'd be super obvious!

[This situation is really stressful Sokka!]

I... is it Aang?

Yup! After all, if I kill him, which he won't expect, the Avatar dies. Then I just have to find the new one. It'd be so easy to raise the new Avatar as a beacon of despair. Of course I'd have to kill anyone coming after me and the kid... but it'd be worth it.

[Awwww! You look like you're about to keel over!]

In the end, that's just one reason I'm doing this. I've got a lot more targets lined up after him.

That... that's horrible Sokka, you can't raise a kid to become your soldier! How can you say any of that and not realize how horrible you sound! And how can you say you plan corupting more people like this?!

.... I was raising all of the boys in my tribe to become warriors. What's so wrong with raising another kid that way?
