[Even without Mewtwo shifting away from too much damamge they couldn't do TOO much. The FF didn't trust Sho with really sharp weapons just yet. 'Reformed' he might be, but he was still a bomb waiting to go off- aimed at their foes is one thing, but here in the facility he's lucky to get anything sharper then a spork.
