- Through some happenstance or another, you've ended up coming into contact with the Future Foundation. Was it by accident? Through a friend in their employment? Or maybe they came to you for help? The particulars don't really matter now. The important part is that you've either volunteered you're services to them or been volunteered in turn and now you're here for your first day as an agent. Well, a trainee agent. After all, today's your orientation and initiation day. How exciting!
Take the chance to wander around and settle into this huge base of operations and get to know your fellow agents. Maybe they're newbies like you or maybe you'll run into one of the permanent staff members.
Either way you'd better settle in good and proper because you're going to be here for a while. No one said beating Despair on a multiversal scale was going to be easy, after all.
1. Post a toplevel with anyone you like! This is basically just a big mingle for whoever wants to join so you don't have to have been part of DRRP proper at any point.
2. Tag around and cause shenanigans
3. uh i guess i didn't really need more than two points for this did i
4. JUST HAVE FUN OK
Sho Minazuki | Persona 4
Usually he can be found in the Training Area taking on all comers. But during any kind of Team Building exercises he's hard to find. The word 'sheeple' is often heard unironicly. But he can generally be found just about anywhere, especially if you don't want him there.
Oddly, for all his bitching he's fairly devoted to the cause. Wonder why...]

New guy! Is whatever you're doing fun?

It's nice that Mewtwo doesn't have to use his telepathy. Few of the humans here understand how to deal with a Pokemon, and many of them expect it to speak to them and become confused when it refuses - it's managed to use that ability with only two humans since coming here, one out of true respect and one out of nothing but necessity. But Sho is almost like a Pokemon, in that he loves combat, and can be goaded into it with barely more than eye contact. Their demeanors are different, but they both have aggressive hearts, and Mewtwo feels as though communication could pass between them through battle alone, sating its restlessness without demanding it bare its thoughts to someone else. It'd be nice if he were more like a Pokemon, or even just more like a trainer, but...
...it'll do. Mewtwo is bored, and Sho is the best fight around when it wants it to be vicious. Walking into the open floor of the training center and materializing the spoon is enough indication of what it's here for. It stares at him across the room, tail lashing - show it what you've got.]

He kinda wants to fight Mewtwo full on one day- he's convinced that Tsukyomi would make up the difference of the pokemon's powers. Seeing the level of destruction it can cause only makes him MORE eager, even though if he had any common sense he'd know there was no chance he could ever win.
But this is fine for now. With a snicker he charges, swords up and crossed- since he's sure the pokemon will come at him attacking]

Eye contact is almost a respectful gesture, in this. It's a sign the battle's being taken seriously, allowed to take up Mewtwo's whole focus - or most of it.
The spoon's shape distorts after a few seconds of evenly-matched struggling, stretching out and arcing around to jab at Sho from the side. (It's not cheating if the opponent wants to be challenged.)]

...BEFORE SLEEP, I SAID
Takamachi Nanoha | Lyrical Nanoha

It is interesting that such a young human is quite as...dedicated? As this one seems to be, though. Mewtwo isn't sure if that's normal; it might be at a Gym like Blaine's, but so many things are different about this world where humans don't bond with Pokemon.
Mewtwo can sense presences when they move around at odd hours of the morning, breaking its sleep. Following them is a more interesting temptation than going back to sleep.
That's how the Pokemon ends up in the rafters of the Training Center, watching Nanoha do...whatever it is she's about to do. ]

Shoot, shoot, shoot...
[The can-kicking goes on for a while, though one shot might send the can a little high around where Mewtwo's standing.]
no subject
Huh. Well, her aim's good. Why so late at night, though-?
-The can spins high, and Mewtwo simply reaches out and grabs it, examining the mark left in it by her shot. It never falls back down.]

Pierce | Original the Character
Maybe he's in the kitchen around morning or noon, making what appears to be pancakes and an egg dish. Other times, he might be here stealing ALL THE SALT.
Maybe he's in the library, reading up on a variety of seemingly unrelated subjects.
Or maybe he's in the training area, using his magical telekinesis in a variety or creative ways with an assortment of random objects, or drawing strange symbols on the floor with chalk.]
Hibiki Kuze | Devil Suvivor 2: Record Breaker (May contain slight spoilers)
But apparently the pitch tugged at his heart strings. So he agreed. After he finished his trip with Yamato at least. Despair could wait for a few months.
When he finally DID show up he set to work making friends- everyone knows him as easy to get along with and... perhaps a little quirky. He can often be found in the AV room watching movies and talking at the screen. 'No, don't go in there!' or 'Honestly I think it was aliens. I wrote an essay on it'. But when he's not there he might be watching people in the Training Area but never fighting himself, oddly enough.
....also if you happen to be trying to sneak into the Makeout Closet hope you have your butt clenched cuz a pair of bright blue eyes might gleam in the dark behind the coats before:]
Yo.
[Don't ask why he was just... in there. Alone]

Do the people in horror movies ever do anything sensible? I'm pretty sure the movie would be over in twenty seconds.

rubs hands on this one too before sleep
Hibiki is one of the more interesting shoulders to watch over simply because of how expressive he is towards the movies. It gives Mewtwo something to process when the action on-screen becomes incomprehensible.
Also sometimes he has popcorn and Mewtwo can eat the popcorn...
Hibiki hasn't touched it in three minutes. The Pokemon's just going to reach over the back of the couch and take the bag. It's lost interest in the plot of the movie. (They wouldn't be stuck in that house if any of them were trainers!! How pointlessly frustrating.)]

At this point I don't get why they don't scatter- he can't chase them all. A scary chase through the woods would be pretty scary too.

Mewtwo | Pokemon Special
....
It's. Not exactly the most personable Pokemon.
Which isn't necessarily out of ill will. Mewtwo's had enough bad experiences with humans to be wary of most, and besides that, it's just not wired for the kind of interaction humans crave. It's mainly quiet, hanging around wordlessly and absorbing information on the people it'll be expected to work with. When it's talked to, it listens with interest, and responds to some extent with gestures. When it's prompted to speak...it doesn't, if it's being expected to talk like a human, but there's communication to be found in its expressions and mannerisms, for those who have the patience to try.
It doesn't spend as much time alone in the Training Center as one might think - there's not much the place offers it. But it is happy(?) to effectively be an advanced training dummy, its psychokinesis allowing it to simulate any number of targets and counterattacks for other Foundation fighters to hone their skills against while keeping it from harm. (In a pinch, Recover works too.)
The AV Room, Music Room, Library, and other places people tend to gather...it doesn't have anything specific in mind when it shows up here, besides watching people and getting talked at and maybe reading over a shoulder or two, but that very lack of intent could probably be used to rope it into watching a movie, or get an audience for a musical performance, or something.
It currently sleeps in the central hall near the Main Entrance, which is partially a stopgap measure while higher-ups figure out where best to house it and partially an easy way to keep that central area guarded and monitored just that much more. Who's sneaking around at night?
The Pokemon does well at team-building exercises of any sort so long as it's working with people who know how to buckle down and take things seriously, mainly because it's so motivated by getting shit done that it's willing to adjust to its teammates' plans without question, when they have them and when they're decent. But its patience is far from infinite - it can get frustrated with ineptitude, and try to wrap up the situation itself, with a barrier around its team and a sweeping psychic blast...
The longer the orientation process drags on, the more restless Mewtwo gets. It wants to get out there and fight. Don't you feel that tension too?]
[[ooc: pokespe mewtwo doesn't telepathy at people unless it really understands and trusts the person, or really, really needs to talk to them, so for most purposes it's as wordless as a regular pokemon and the people around it will know it to be such. it emotes, though! be its friend. show it anime.]]
Neku Sakuraba | The World ends with You | For Sonico
But Neku was apparently expected to be Too Important to the cultural future of their world, having been refined so often. Odds were he wouldn't even go back to the UG when he died, instead moving onto the next level. A rare thing nowadays.
Still, there was nothing wrong with visiting. One of his best friends worked with the Foundation after all, and Beat had told him ALL about his misadventures. So there was really no stopping him from doing so.
Beat was gone for now, but Neku was content to explore the grounds on his own]

She's on her way to the canteen, assuming that's where everyone will be around now, when she passes him in the hall. His face is familiar, but it's not until she's just passed him that it clicks where from. And then she stops and calls back, a little abruptly -- ]
Oh, um-- excuse me-- a--are you here to see Daisuke?

Dai- oh, you mean Beat? I keep forgetting he goes by his real name more here. Yeah, though he's off doing something right now.
